Last week we started a LIVE video series on how to paint a dresser from start to finish. But if you missed them, we've compiled them all right here for you!
In video one we talked about prep, then in video two we talked all about our favorite method to paint furniture.
Now let's get this project done. From distressing, to how I quickly get a smooth streak free top coat AND how to create a gold finish on hardware super fast!
Since the video was a bit rushed, here are some tips I didn't touch on during the LIVE.
- After distressing, a vacuum with the hose attachment is the perfect tool to suck up all of the dust that has gotten into the corners. Just like we did in video one!
- Poly doesn't normally need to be thinned out for the paint sprayer, but it should definitely be strained and tested to see if it will be too thick for the sprayer. *Remember the viscosity cup in video two!
- If you're in an enclosed area, wear a respiratory mask. I was in a rush and totally forgot to. But I usually wear one.
Here are all of my favorite supplies that I use for almost every makeover, including this one!
